DESCRIPTION
Roads and highways are being built more each year to match the increasing trafficking demands. However, many recently built lanes are possibly constructed on loose or weak soil that cannot bear massive loads and is prone to cracking or subsidence.
Traffic works are commonly known as places that have to bear massive loads often so the ability to withstand the pressure of the surface is necessary. If the foundation is weak, the surface is easily prone to cracking or subsidence. Thus, the foundation construction process needs to be taken seriously. With a compressive strength of up to 800kPa, Remak® XPS is the perfect foundation material for making of roads, especially highways, and airways which are built in icy and humid areas
In addition, the actual use and testing process also shows that Remak® XPS foam has very high durability, thereby it is difficult to deform during use, and has a durability of up to 50 years.
